Psychological States
If you should find that you're experiencing one or more of the following, you should seek professional help immediately:
- having difficulty sleeping,
- a change in your appetite or energy level,
- finding little or no enjoyment in things that have been enjoyable in the past,
- finding yourself more irritable or "teary" and sad,
- having trouble with concentration or short term memory,
- having trouble starting things,
- not wanting to socialize,
- feeling hopeless or helpless,
- feeling guilty about how you feel,
- a decreased interest in sex.
- may actually be thinking about harming yourself
These symptoms may be due to andropause or depression. A trained professional should be able to differentiate, and direct you toward appropriate treatment options.
